This fantastic journey starts at Mumbai and ends at Delhi, taking in along the way the regal cities of Rajasthan, magnificent monuments at Agra, cultural attractions of Gujarat, and the wilderness of the Ranthambore National Park.
Be it the cruise ride on Lake Pichola in Udaipur or visiting the impressive Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur, seeing the beautiful Taj Mahal in Agra, and encountering Bengal tigers in Ranthambore, every day brings with it a new experience related to India’s wonderful heritage. Report to the historical Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai and undertake check-in procedures for your luxurious train journey. You will be greeted in the traditional style by India before embarking onto the Deccan Odyssey Train. Take time to enjoy the luxury facilities on the train while the train starts its journey to Vadodara. You will also have a welcome dinner on board.

Waking up in Vadodara, one of the most culturally-rich cities in Gujarat. Post breakfast, head out to the World Heritage site of Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, which is one of the unique instances of a pre-Mughal city.
Back on board the train after lunch to visit the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum, famed for its outstanding collection of royal artefacts and art work. Post that, have your exclusive high tea at the magnificent Laxmi Vilas Palace, which is home to the ruling Gaekwad dynasty, with cultural programs as part of the experience.
Back to the train and onto Udaipur.

Arrive in the city of Udaipur, also known as the City of Lakes and among the most romantic cities in all of India. Start the day by having your breakfast followed by an excursion to the majestic City Palace that dominates the Pichola Lake.
Experience a beautiful boat cruise on the Pichola Lake before coming back to the train for lunch. Spend the rest of the day sightseeing the streets of Old Udaipur which are well-known for their handicrafts, paintings, and jewelry.
Get back to the train for dinner as the train moves towards Jodhpur.

Today, you reach Jodhpur, known for its blue buildings, popularly called Blue City of Rajasthan. There is an option either to enjoy a spa session at a luxurious hotel or go on an excursion to the Bishnoi tribes village.
Following lunch in the train, pay a visit to the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, one of the biggest forts in India. Go around its many galleries, weapons display, and various palaces, including the Turban Gallery.
Later, explore the Clock Tower market as well as narrow streets of the old town, and finally end your day with a unique barbeque dinner at the Mehrangarh Fort.

Visit Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, also referred to as the Pink City. You will start the sightseeing by visiting the impressive Amer Fort that is situated on top of the hill and surrounded by Maota Lake.
Next on the list will be the famous structure of Hawa Mahal known for its honeycomb architecture followed by touring the City Palace. Visit the UNESCO listed observatory of Jantar Mantar before having lunch at the luxury hotel.
Later in the evening you will have a choice between shopping in Jaipur’s bazaars or indulging in a rejuvenating spa treatment before returning back to the train.

This morning, reach the city of Agra which houses some of the finest Mughal sites in all of India. Post breakfast, have a visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal, the epitome of love and beauty created by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of Mumtaz Mahal.
Following a delicious lunch at a luxurious hotel, have a tour of Itmad-ud-Daulah, commonly known as Baby Taj due to its marvelous marble carvings. Head to Agra Fort, the UNESCO World Heritage site, which was used as the imperial palace of the Mughal emperors.
The guests can also opt for a relaxing spa or stroll through the local markets for buying marble inlay items and handcrafted artifacts.

Start the day by having breakfast early in the morning and then go for a safari ride at Ranthambore National Park, which is considered one of India’s best tiger sanctuaries. This park houses several species such as Bengal Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bears, Nilgai, Chital Deer, and various types of birds.
Next, return to the train for lunch and then explore some nearby villages.
Later, have high tea at a heritage hunting lodge owned by the royalty of Rajasthan.
In the evening, embark on the overnight train journey to Delhi.

♦ The Presidential Suite can accommodate up to three adults or two adults and two kids.
♦ It is advisable for families traveling with kids ages 6–12 years to choose the Presidential Suite.
♦ If two kids ages 6–12 years travel with the parents, they might need another cabin.
♦ The first child will pay 25% of the adult fare while the second one pays 50% of the adult fare.
