Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Mumbai – Welcome to Maharajas' Express

Your royal journey starts in Mumbai. When you get to Mumbai you will do the check-in. Then people will tell you about the trip. After that you will go to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station Board to Maharajas Express. The train will leave Mumbai. You will go to your really nice room on the train. You will have lunch on the train while you look at the different views outside your window. You can spend the evening looking around the parts of the train like the lounges and the dining cars. Then you will have a good dinner.

Day 2: Udaipur – The City of Lakes

Wake up to a breakfast as the train gets to the really pretty city of Udaipur. Udaipur is famous for its lakes, big palaces and the way it makes you feel like you are in a romantic movie. The city of Udaipur gives you a look at the life of Rajasthan. You should go to the City Palace. It is really magnificent. Look at how pretty the buildings are and you can see the whole of Lake Pichola from there. Taking a boat ride on Lake Pichola is a way to spend the day. It feels like magic and you can see the Lake Palace and the hills around it which look really stunning. After you have lunch at a place that we have chosen for you you will go back to the train and keep going on your trip.
You will stay overnight on the Maharajas Express.

Day 3: Jodhpur – The Blue City

Arrive at Jodhpur, which’s one of the most amazing cities in Rajasthan. The big thing to do today was visit the Mehrangarh Fort. It is really something to see this fort built by the Rajputs that towers over the city. You walked around the palaces and courtyards and museums and viewpoints. learned a lot about what happened in this area a long time ago. Later you had some time to yourself so you went to the markets near the Clock Tower. They are really fun to walk. People sell all kinds of cool things like handmade crafts and clothes and food from around here. In the evening you have a great dinner. It was, like something a king would have, they treated you really nicely and there was traditional music and dancing.

Day 4: Bikaner – Desert Traditions and Sundowner Experience

After we eat breakfast on the train we get to the desert city of Bikaner. We will go to the cool Junagarh Fort. This place is famous for how nice it looks, its fancy balconies and the pretty palaces that are still in great shape. When the sun starts to go down we will go into the desert. This is going to be one of the parts of our trip. We will have some snacks, watch some local people perform and have a barbecue dinner with barbecue in the middle of the sand dunes. It is really special to be in the desert, at night. It is something that we will remember forever.

Day 5: Jaipur – The Pink City

This morning the train gets to Jaipur, the cool city that is the capital of Rajasthan. The first thing to do is go see the Amer Fort. It is a building that people know about because it is so nicely designed and has big royal yards and it is on top of a hill. Then we get to look around Jaipur. This city is famous for all the markets and big royal houses and people who make things by hand. After we go back to the train to eat lunch we have the rest of the day to ourselves. Then at night we get to have dinner, at a place that was picked just for us.

Day 6: Ranthambore and Fatehpur Sikri

Start your day with a cool safari in Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambore National Park is one of the places in India to see animals. Ranthambore National Park has tigers and leopards and deer and crocodiles and lots of birds. The safari is very fun and you get to see all the wild animals in Ranthambore National Park. After you eat breakfast on the train you will go to Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is a cool old city that Emperor Akbar built. You can walk around Fatehpur Sikri. See the big palaces and the yards and the really cool buildings. Then you will go back to the train.

♦ As per the tour operator’s refund policy and timeline, any applicable refunds will be made.
♦ The processing time for refunds can vary, depending on payment method and banking procedures.

♦ 25% of the journey cost is needed when you confirm your booking if you make it more than 90 days before you leave.
♦ The rest of the balance must be paid at 60 days before you depart.
♦ If you book within 60 days of departure you have to pay the amount right away.
